Heat pump servicing

Keeping your heat pump running at its best

Air-source heat pumps are reliable, long-life heating systems. But like any heating system, they perform best when they are properly maintained.

Regular servicing keeps your heat pump operating efficiently, helps protect your manufacturer warranty and identifies small issues before they become costly problems.

Most manufacturers recommend that air-source heat pumps are serviced annually by a qualified engineer.

For homeowners, regular servicing provides peace of mind that your heating and hot water system will continue to perform exactly as it should year after year.

Pump House Care Plan

For systems installed by others

Many air-source heat pumps have already been installed across Oxfordshire, and
unfortunately a significant number are not regularly serviced.

We provide servicing for existing heat pump systems installed by other companies.

Before we can take responsibility for ongoing servicing, we carry out an initial system
health check. This allows us to confirm the system has been designed, installed and
configured correctly.

This protects both the homeowner and our engineers and ensures we are servicing a system
that is operating safely and efficiently.

If we identify design or installation issues during the health check, we will explain the
available options for improving the system before taking on ongoing servicing.

Once the system has passed this assessment, it can join our ongoing annual servicing plan.

The Pump House Care Plan includes

  • Initial system health check
  • Annual heat pump service
  • Full system inspection and performance testing
  • Cleaning of key components
  • Electrical safety checks
  • Advice on system operation and settings
  • Priority booking for servicing appointments
  • Annual one-to-one review of your system and renewable technology updates
